Fundo Río Simpson is located 15 km from the city of Coyhaique, with approximately 6 km of river border and two inland lagoons.

The flora that grows on the estate is made up of evergreen and deciduous forests in which species such as coigües, tepas, mañío, ciruelillo, tepú, canelo and chilco (the most abundant in the area) grow. It also has a mixed forest in which species such as molle, quillay, boldo, litre, hawthorn and trefoil grow.
