The property is located on the southern slope of Cerro Galera, less than an hour from the city of Coyhaique, 32 km. The road is paved on the way to the Balmaceda airport, then 13 km of gravel road, very well maintained by the road system throughout the year, and finally 3 km of country roads in the direction of the park.

Associated to the Park there is a multiplicity of ecological elements, such as native forestation (lenga forest), natural water sources, flora, fauna, multiple trekking trails and views of the Patagonian environment that exceed 100 kms.

There are two small stable lagoons and several seasonal ones. These lagoons are a stop for migratory birds and it is common to find wild ducks.
